Long absence

I made myself a promise to update this blog more often and I have been slacking. My main reason is keeping up with a toddler and I have also been doing other activities that I am passionate about. Anyways, things have been very good ! Aurora's casts came off and she has had no more breaks since. Walking was difficult for a while, but after a couple months she had the strength back in her legs and she's running around like crazy. We've had a couple scares, even a trip to the emergency for x rays. I will be calling Montreal Shriners Hospital in the next few weeks to schedule her yearly appointment. They will be doing spinal x rays this year, so I am really hoping she doesn't have any compression fx. I am dreading her dexa scan..... I don't even want to think about that !! (it measures her bone density)
